PIE and Seward County Community College/Area Technical School have been working together to establish a Natural Gas Compression Technology course in Liberal, Kansas. The next step in the process is to advertise for an individual to help develop the course curriculum and eventually be the primary course instructor. Various companies have committed their support to the program through in-kind donations of equipment. It is thought potential students will be sponsored by a company through the duration in the NGT course, leading to full employment at completion.
